CAPS

CAPS is the Club Action Planning Scheme which supports clubs in organising themselves in an efficient and professional way. It is directly linked to Sport England’s Clubmark scheme and it’s all about good practice in the development of players, coaches and umpires at all levels.

In December 2009, we successfully applied for the CAPS upgrade and have now been awarded the Silver Award.

Membership Fees

Membership fees were set at the 2009 AGM :-

  • Adult Member - £10 per month
  • Junior Member - £5 per month

Membership fees cover various costs incurred in running the club, including affiliation of players, insurance, training court fees and club netball kit.

These fees are to be paid by Standing Order to the Club account. The Treasurer will support each member in setting up the Standing Order.

With the new dresses recently, it was agreed that each member would own their dress and so pay £17.50 to cover the cost of the dress and embroidery.

Kit Deposit

In addition, each club member gives the Treasurer a deposit cheque of £25 for clothing kit. This deposit will be returned in full if the member wishes to leave the club, having returned her kit. 

Match Fees

Match fees will apply to all competitive matches during the Winter and Summer season, and are held at 50p/quarter played. These fees are to be paid in cash, at matches. Match fees are used to help pay for umpires and court fees during matches.
